Summary
This course introduces candidates to the hazards and risks involved in moving and handling and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment. It will enable employees to develop safer moving and handling techniques in the workplace.
For example in the Care Industry - Providing an awareness of the risks of their spine from improper lifting, candidates will participate in a variety of exercises aimed at safe practice and discuss the merits of moving equipment. Hoisting awareness can be included in this training.
